And Now!

This past year has been uber busy!

During the summer, I stayed at Totleigh Barton for an Arvon writing course taught by Malachy Doyle, Polly Dunbar and Anthony Brown. The course was a totally amazing experience. An excellent critique/support group emerged.

The annual SCBWI conference in Winchester in November was exhilarating and inspiring. Debi Gliori made us laugh and cry in her hands-on drawing workshop – talk about making an emotional connection with a character! There were several opportunities to talking to other author/illustrators and networking events.

Finally I signed up for a Mendham Writers Course aimed at writing for different age groups. Again the chance to get feedback is so valuable and pushes the quality of the work. Also the course was well worth the money…..

Here comes change….

I am a Winchester based award winning artist. I graduated from Winchester School of Art in 2004 with an MA and BA in Fine Art Sculpture. Since then, I have continued to develop my practice with forays into animation and photography while working full time. Currently I am self-employed and am establishing my career as an illustrator/writer.
